Many adults with one or more missing teeth are good candidates for dental implants. During your consultation, we will evaluate your oral health, jawbone, bone levels, and overall dental health to determine whether dental implants are the right treatment option for you. If additional procedures such as bone grafting are recommended to support successful implant placement, we will explain every step of your personalized treatment plan before treatment begins.
Dental implants are designed to be a long-term tooth replacement solution. During the dental implant procedure, a titanium implant is placed into the jawbone where it gradually fuses with the bone through a natural healing process called osseointegration. With good oral hygiene, regular dental checkups, and proper care, dental implants can function successfully for decades.
Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the dental implant procedure is. Local anesthesia is used during implant placement, and many patients report less discomfort than they expected. Mild soreness during the healing process is normal and can usually be managed with medication and the aftercare instructions provided by our team.
